Announce: VintageRack big update coming soon!

I'm working on a big update to the VintageRack (iOS, macOS, AUv3 plugin) app. Planning to release it in the next month. This update will add four new modules - Spring reverb with tube preamp, Exciter with bass enhancer, Multimode formant filter and... not decide yet )

Also will be added new distortion type for module Fuzz, and maybe new type of tone stack for the output section. Details and demos of each new module will be in additional short demos later.

These compact but great synths I use to test and tweak all of my apps. Korg microX and Alesis Micron. They just fit well on the table )

VintageRack - Easy LoFi Vintage Vibe Effects >> App Store

VintageRack is a minimalistic and convenient multi-effect application that contains modules realistically simulating notable retro gear from the early digital age with their natural lo-fi and warm aesthetics. Most of the effects in this application have been inspired and based on the principles of actual hardware from the 70s and 80s, which is great for giving the sound of any instrument the nostalgic and emotional mood of old recordings. >>> More about this app

Making Trip Hop Spoken Word Beats with SpaceFields

Gavinski’s Tutorials

Workflow: I LOVE SpaceFields and I love what came out of this session. Here's a brief description of the procedure.

I made some drums using an unreleased app I cannot yet mention, added some kick drum using Bleass Sidekick and put the whole thing through an instance of SpaceFields, still keeping in some dry signal, with reverb turned down but modulating pitch etc to create something more complex and trippy.

I used the open beta of Radio Audio Unit - found some kind of Jamaican spoken word station and sampled some of this into another instance of SpaceFields. With reverb and totally wet, to get max trippiness. I played a bit of VTines (beautiful modeled Rhodes) into another SpaceFields. Everything except the drums went through BitJuggler for bitcrushing. I used Rum by Klevgrand on everything but the drums. FAC Medusa was used for on the fly compression and saturation of lows and highs.

Delicate Tension - Saxophone, BeatCutter & SpaceFields

Saxophone improvisation with BeatCutter & SpaceFields apps (iOS, macOS, AUv3).

Bass clarinet and Soprano saxophone by Hubert-Jan Hubeek, a saxophone or multi reed instrumentalist from Amsterdam, http://xofoon.nl

The background and abstractions were generated from the original saxophone and clarinet track by BeatCutter app and also partially processed by SpaceFields app with using external impulse response (IR) file for natural space reverberation.
